Completing Apprenticeships in England
What is an Apprenticeship?
An Apprenticeship is a work-based learning programme that allows you to develop new skills whilst earning money. It means you will have a real, paid job with a high-quality employer whilst completing a vocational training framework with us.
A huge benefit of completing an Apprenticeship in England is that you will come away with a nationally-recognised qualification that employers will recognise as confirmation of your ability to do a certain job. You will also receive one to one support from our super friendly Trainer Coaches who will guide you through the qualification and provide you with all the support you need to get through it.
Levels of Qualification
We deliver Apprenticeships in England at Level 2 (GCSE equivalent), Level 3 (A-Level equivalent), Level 4 (HNC equivalent) and Level 5 (Foundation Degree equivalent) and the level you start on will depend on your experience and/or the needs of your employer. However, once you have completed one level we will be happy to progress you on to a higher one (as long as you’re in a suitable job role) completely free of charge (because we’re nice like that).
The qualification that you undertake will relate to your job role. For example, if your job involves Office Work, we would enrol you onto a Business Administration Standard whereas if your job was in a nursery, you’d be better suited to a Child Care qualification. Most of the training for our Apprenticeships in England is delivered within your place of work although we sometimes need you to attend a workshop in one of our training centres (we’ll let you know in advance).
If you need any more convincing when it comes to getting involved in Apprenticeships in England how about this? We give away a student discount (NUS card) free of charge to everyone that enrols onto an Apprenticeship with us. How cool is that?
